Please read attentively this Privacy and Personal Data Policy, because in this way you will find out what data we collect and for what purposes we use your personal data, collected through our internet or self-service sites. In case you do not agree with the collection of personal data, we unfortunately cannot provide you with services or offers of such services.

“Personal data” means any information relating to a natural person (data subject) whose identity is known or may be directly or indirectly identified through the use of relevant data (e.g. name, surname, identity number, address, telephone number or other information). IVP Partners undertakes to collect and manage personal data of Clients, their employees, beneficiaries and related persons only then and to the extent necessary to achieve a specific, defined and legitimate purpose.

Cookies are a special type of information, which is recorded on the visitor’s computer (device) when the visitor visits the IVP Partners website (www.ivp.lt) and / or is using the self-service website (savitarnaivp.lt).

IVP Partners is committed to the confidentiality of personal data when handling personal data. This obligation arises from the provisions of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania, the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania and the General Data Protection Regulation.

Personal data may be disclosed to a third party, if required by the insurance contract with the insurer to conclude or execute it, or for other legitimate reasons. The information may also be made available to other parties at the request of the data subject or subject to the contractual obligations of the data subject to other parties, such as leasing companies, banks or other financial institutions.

Personal data may also be provided to law enforcement authorities on a legal basis of the claim.

IVP Partners does not use or disclose highly sensitive personal data (eg on health, property, family members) without the explicit consent of the Data Subject, except as required by law and regulation, e.g. insurer, court, medical institution and other state institutions.

IVP Partners receives personal data from the data subjects themselves, the employer of the data subject – the legal entity (if data are provided on employees as insured persons, beneficiaries or injured persons), as well as data can be obtained from state registers, e.g. SE Centre of Registers, SE “Regitra”, and other institutions or insurers (e.g. by joining intermediary databases for intermediaries).

If you refuse to provide the necessary data, IVP Partners, unfortunately, cannot prepare an insurance offer, conclude an insurance contract or administer the damage incurred, or insured events.

IVP Partners, by protecting or transmitting personal data, shall follow the General Data Protection Regulation, the personal data processing requirements established in the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania, as well as the Republic of Lithuania Insurance Laws and other applicable legal acts.

Normally, the legal basis for processing personal data is the Collaboration Agreement with IVP Partners or the power of attorney to represent the Customer in relations with the insurer/ s, as well as applicable insurance laws and laws governing mediation activities.

Personal data may also be processed with the consent of a private person (e.g. for direct marketing purposes). The consent to process personal data may be revoked simply and free of charge on the Self-Service website by removing a check mark from the statement “receive new or updated personal offers for insurance and mediation services”, as well as by providing a written free-form request expressing such will.

  • Submitting proposals to mediate in a conclusion of an insurance contract;
  • Arranging insurance contracts and providing mediation in its execution;
  • Claim management;
  • Proper and lawful execution of contracts and other agreements made in writing or in spoken language between the Company and the recipient / supplier.
  • If you are a natural person-assurer: first name, surname, place of residence, your contacts;
  • If you are a legal person: name, surname, workplace, your duties and contacts.

Also, depending on the type of insurance you choose, we can also collect personal code, date of birth, data on , real estate, etc.

IVP Partners does not currently use any cookies that collect visitors’ personal data, IP addresses, or other features that identify visitor statistics.

The collected personal data is stored in printed documents, self-service website and in our information systems (e-mail, its regular copies, internal databases and internal folders).

IVP Partners shall store personal data insofar as this is provided for by law or in accordance with the purposes for which the data are processed, provided that they contain a longer retention period. Personal data are usually retained until reasonable claims can arise from the contractual relationship.

When managing personal data, IVP Partners implements a thoroughly developed internal personal data policy (rules) that helps to protect personal data from accidental or unlawful destruction, alteration, disclosure and any other unlawful processing. We use physical, technical and software data protection tools. In addition, our security assurance activities include personnel, information, IT infrastructure, including periodic intrusion into internal networks and database testing, as well as protection of office buildings and technical equipment.

  • to receive information about your personal data, from where and how personal data is collected and how it is managed by IBP Partners;
  • to request a correction or addition to personal data, for no further processing, destruction if the data is incorrect, not provided in full or inaccurate, or if it is no longer necessary in view of the purposes for which it was collected;
  • to contact IVP Partners with a request for the destruction or suspension of personal data management (excluding storage);
  • to cancel your consent to process data at any time;
  • from 2018 May 25 with the entry into force of the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data) you also have the right to data portability and the right to delete data ('the right to be forgotten') or ask for a restriction on their processing.

To exercise the rights granted to you, you can contact IVP Partners directly at: Ulonų st. 2, Vilnius or send us an application confirmed by electronic signature via electronic channels. Other ways are not possible because they do not allow us to identify you. IVP Partners will reply to you no later than 30 days after the date of referral. If necessary, this term may be extended to two months, informing you of the reasons for such decision in the ways you have indicated.
